“Fear and Loathing on the Planet of Kitson” – It’s a wild night out on the planet of Kitson for the agents. While Fitz and Enoch try their luck at the casino, nearby, Daisy and Simmons find themselves in a much … groovier situation

ksitetv – Daisy Johnson is in space as the sixth season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. begins tonight (May 10) on ABC.

“We reference that we’ve been in space for a year, in this rogue little space mission with Davis and and Piper and me and Simmons,” Chloe Bennet recalled to us on a recent press day at the S.H.I.E.L.D. sets.

“Daisy is technically leading but it’s pretty clear who’s leading the mission, and how much Simmons wants Fitz back, and I think Daisy’s kind of torn between being responsible for it the other people on the ship, and also just her loyalty to Fitz and Simmons, so I think you’ll see a little bit of that,” she teased.

The relationship between Daisy Johnson and Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) will certainly face more tests this season, where they will get to interact quite a bit.

“It’s definitely a really fun season for me and Elizabeth,” Chloe continued. “It’s a little bit of a play on the season two and Mac and Daisy or whatever my name was at that time were partners in a way. This season feels a little bit more partnering with Simmons which was really fun to share. Specifically, one episode which you guys will know which one I’m talking about. I know everyone is listening secretly, maybe. It’s my favorite episode, maybe, that I’ve ever shot we did this season and it was a really fun kind of buddy-buddy situation with Simmons and Daisy,” she enthused.

And as herself, Chloe Bennet, what was her first impression upon seeing Clark Gregg as “Sarge?”
“I loved his shoes. I was like ‘damn, Daddy!’ I thought Clark looked so hot,” she said.

“I was really excited for him. You know, we’ve been doing this for seven years. So it’s fun to get to see the characters get to do different — it was fun for me to see Clark get to do something a little bit different. It’s fresh. You know? It’s hard to bring new storylines after seven seasons or six seasons, and so it’s something completely different to react to, yet it’s the same person, and it was it was really fun. It was cool to see him do something different,” she continued.

And finally, where does Daisy see her current role in S.H.I.E.L.D.?
“I think that she is really smart, and she’s smart enough to know where she lacks skill and I think ultimately, that will eventually make her a great leader, but I think right now she’s like, ‘I’m actually good enough.’ I’m aware enough to go ‘I’m not ready for this, and I know you are,’ and that, to me, is the making of a great leader,” Chloe said.
“She wants to be on the ground. I think she wants to take a step back from being the moral soundboard because that’s a really hard place to be. There are so many situations where you’re like ‘what is the right thing?’ and I would probably be the same. Like, ‘no. I’m gonna chill. I’m gonna chill. You can do this, and I’m going to be this. Where you want me to be? Great’,” she continued.

That does come with a tension, though, of being like “remember when I let you be the Director?”
“There could be some conflict there, maybe, but I think ultimately she’s aware of herself and aware of the situation to know that she’s not quite ready. I think she’s been through a lot of trauma and kind of just wants to be a soldier. Not ready to make all the hard decisions yet,” Chloe said.

tvguide – To say Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet) has been unlucky in love on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is to seriously understate the catastrophe that has been the girl’s love life the past five seasons. Her first love, Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), turned out to be a Hydra agent, then her boyfriend Luke (Luke Mitchell) floated off into space and died to save the world from her ex-boyfriend who’d turned into an ancient, evil octopus — who kind of also felt a little bit like a love interest? It’s been a mess, y’all.

That all might change in Season 6 though, according to Chloe Bennet. A small group of reporters talked to the cast about this very topic on a recent visit to the Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. set, where they’re already busy filming Season 7, and they had promising things to say.

“I think she’s getting there, I think that’s what it is,” Bennet said of Daisy’s readiness for a new foray into romance. “At the end of Season 3, [there was] so much loss, she was like, ‘I can’t be around anybody. I’ll hurt everybody. I’m going to leave.’ You really see her mature through her reactions to trauma throughout the whole series. This season, I wanted to make sure that the love interest wasn’t in reaction to anything… I think Season 6, we’re getting into that place, but I think as the Captain of the FitzSimmons ship, I think she’s focused on them.”

It’s true that as far as Daisy’s past goes, there’s always been some deep emotional trauma affecting her choices and her judgment. One would assume the loss of Coulson (Clark Gregg) would retrigger her go-to defense mechanism of going it alone, but in the year that’s passed since his death, she’s actually done the opposite and banded together with the small rescue team on a mission to find Fitz (Iain De Caestecker). Bennet isn’t lying when she said Daisy will be the so-called captain of that ship this year.

However, the fact that Daisy is apparently ready to consider romance again is interesting enough to make us consider who might catch her eye this year. The most obvious answer is, of course, Deke (Jeff Ward), who made his interest in Daisy pretty clear last season.

“We all know what Deke wants,” Bennet continued. “We know Deke wants it.”

Ward hinted that despite Daisy being locked in space with her dedicated rescue squad, she and Deke would be sharing quite a bit of time together this season. As to whether those scenes will take on a romantic nature? That’s anyone’s guess.

“They will definitely spend a bunch more time together, and their relationship continues to grow and evolve,” Ward said. “I hope something happens. Wouldn’t that be nice?”

It sure would be nice to see these two turn their chemistry into something substantial, but we’re not sure FitzSimmons would agree, since Deke is actually their future grandson. It might be a little weird for everyone involved, but we guess weird is always relative on this show!

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 6 premieres Friday, May 10 at 8/7c on ABC.

Clark Gregg and Chloe Bennet open up about season 6 of their Marvel show “Agents Of Shield”, revealing where the series will pick up following the death of Agent Coulson.

AND IT IS AT LAST DONE after well over 3 years I have done the last four episodes of season one of Agents Of Shield in 1080p Blu-Ray, and they are 1×19 – The Only Light in the Darkness, 1×20 – Nothing Personal, 1×21 – Ragtag and 1×22 – Beginning of the End. Now that they are out of the way I will make my way onto season two and redoing the caps in there with Blu-Ray ones but no clue when they will be up yet.
